Evi Shelvia – Epit

Evi Shelvia really loves to hug her cats, read books, write stories, and make drawings of many things including rabbits and monsters. And of course, Evi really enjoys to write and illustrate children’s book.

She has written and illustrated more than 50 titles of children’s book that have been published in many countries across Asia and the United States and receiving awards for two (2) times from Samsung SKTAA in Singapore, award from Board of Malaysian Books (Perbadanan Kota Buku, Malaysia), and won the Best Seller Mover and Shaker form Amazon Books, USA for one of the books that she illustrates.

Evi earned her Bachelor Degree of Industrial Product Design from ITB, Indonesia, started her career as a Lecturer before later decided to pursue her passion in children’s book illustration while living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with her family for more than 11 years.

Back in Indonesia afterwards, she continues her work from her studio and actively involved as a Mentor and Art Director with Room To Read International, coaching on children’s book development for several Asian and African countries since 2021 and ongoing
