Taupik Akbar

Taupik Akbar is an Indonesia-based documentary and travel photographer who has an interest in covering historical, social, humanitarian, cultural and environmental issues.

His interest in cameras and photography began to emerge when he was still in school until college. Started studying photography in 2007 while studying at Gadjah Mada University and majoring in Geography. Started working as a professional photographer since 2011.

His experience in documentary and travel photography has brought him together with Governments, companies and NGOs on a national and international scale.
