Myra Widiono

Myra Widiono is an architect and entrepreneur yet a culture
enthusiast, she graduated in Architecture in 1979 from Bandung Institute of
Technology (ITB), then she got her master’s in Architecture Planning from the
University of London (UCL) in 1989. She is interested in art, fashion, textile,
interior, building, natural dyes, and natural fibers. She was a member of the
National Craft Council of Indonesia – DEKRANAS (2004-2014), and she is also
chairperson of Indonesian Natural Dyes Organization – WARLAMI. She is also a
founder of Rumah Rakuji, a shelter for art, craft, and culture. In her journey
about art, craft and culture, she also participates in national and
international exhibitions and fashion shows such as Inacaraft, Adiwastra,
ICRAFT, Katumbiri, Karya Kreatif Indonesia, Gelar Batik Nusantara, Bangkok
