Restu Taufik Akbar

Restu Taufik Akbar (b. 1990, Bandung, Indonesia) is an interdisciplinary artist who is currently based in Bandung Insitute of Technology with cum laude predicate. He is a finalist of Bandung Contemporary Art Award #5 in 2017. He has held his first solo exhibition ‘Lucidity’ at Roh Project Gallery, Jakarta in 2015. In 2018. He held two solo exhibitions, namely ‘The Other Hemisphere’ at de Braga by Artotel Artspace dan ‘(In)material Truth’ at Orbital Dago Gallery, Bandung. Restu has exhibited at Gillman Barrack Singapore, Indonesia National Gallery, 16Albermarle Project Space, ROH Project Gallery, Lawangwangi Creative Space, Museum MACAN, Soemardja Gallery, Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, among others.
