Soni Sumpena

Soni Sumpena is a Minimalist Abstract painting artist from Bandung and now lives in Cimahi City, West Java. Since childhood, he has enjoyed the world of drawing and eventually studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) majoring in painting and graduated in 1995. He liked simple things and novelty in expressing his artistic expression. He has also participated in several exhibitions at the Osaka Triennale, The Philip Morris Group of Companies Indonesia Art awards and several cities in Indonesia. Currently, he is active in Early Childhood Education in Bandung Regency and working on the production of furniture designs in his own production house alongside his painting.
