She was born in Bandung. Graduated from Faculty of Fine Art and Design at Bandung Institut of Technology in 1982. During her carrier years she took opportunities to visit some art museum abroad such as in Greece (Athens), Italy, Netherland, France, and USA (New York, Chicago, Washington, San Fransisco, and Wisconsin). Since 1982 She has participated in more than 90 exchibitions both within Indonesia and another country.
